Day 5
Our first full day in paradise.
Coffee on the lanai, breathing
the ocean breezes as the symphony of surf and palm fronds caressed our ears,
soaking sunshine, admiring flowers and the antics of the birds.
A day of rest, allowing our
bodies and bowels to catch up.
A trip to the food market,
monitoring the astonishingly high prices, flexible
and happy, wondering whether our cash will hold out. “No worries,” said
Dave. “I put it on the plastic.”
